Summary

The Nigeria Child Labor Survey collected information on child labor from an anticipated sample of 21,900 particpants aged 5 to 17 from selected households in all states and the Federal Capital Territory. In addition to the household sample, purposive sampling was used to sample 200-400 street children in three selected cities in each state. A household questionnaire was used to collect socioeconomic and demographic information, as well as descriptions of children's education and work activities. An individual questionnaire was used to collect information on the living and working conditions of street children.
