Survey on Health, Well-Being and Aging in Latin America and the Caribbean (SABE)

This survey was conducted simultaneously in Buenos Aires (Argentina), Bridgetown (Barbados), São Paulo (Brazil), Santiago (Chile), Havana (Cuba), Mexico City (Mexico), and Montevideo (Uruguay) to collect information on the health of elderly populations in the participating countries. People 60 years and older were interviewed with an emphasis on those 80 years and older.
