Summary 

The 2012-2013 Senegal Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) is part of Phase 6 of the DHS series. The 2012-2013 survey was the first of five planned phases of the Senegal Continuous DHS. 

The survey covered household characteristics, possession and use of mosquito nets, family planning, maternal care, and child health.

The household sample size was 4,400 households. A total of 9,042 women ages 15 to 49 were included in the sample.
