Summary 

This survey on the prevalence of hepatitis B and C in Pakistan was conducted from July 2007 to May 2008. About 7,000 houses and 49,000 people participated in the survey, which included a hepatitis test and an interview. In the end, 47,043 people were screened. The data are representative at the national and provincial levels.
