Summary 

The Malawi Malaria Indicator Survey (MIS) 2014 is part of phase 7 of the Demographic and Health Survey series. The survey provides information on the knowledge and practice of malaria prevention in Malawi. For the 2014 Malawi MIS, 2,897 women ages 15-49 from 3,405 households were successfully interviewed. Additionally, blood smear parasitemia and finger prick blood tests were conducted for the presence of anemia, and malaria in children under 5.
