Summary 

The Lebanon Maternal and Child Health Survey, which was conducted as part of the PAPCHILD project, was a nationally representative survey covering 4,600 households, and 3,000 ever-married women, ages 15-50. Anthropometric measurements were taken for children under 5. Topics included fertility preferences and contraceptive use, breastfeeding and other food given to children, childhood illness, immunization, and demographic characteristics.

A preliminary report may be available through the library system. An article summarizing the results, published in 2001 in Studies in Family Planning, is available online through JSTOR.
