Summary 

The Iran Integrated Micronutrient Survey 2012 covers topics of dietary intake, lifestyle habits, anemia, and the current status of key micronutrients in blood such as iron, zinc, vitamins A and D. The sample size includes 32,270 individuals and the country was divided into 11 areas. Age groups included children 15-23 months, male teens between 15-20 years, female teens between 14-20 years, women between 50-60 years, and men between 45-60 years. The pregnant women that participated were between 5-9 months pregnant at the time of being interviewed.
