Summary 

The 2006 Indonesia Behavioral Surveillance Survey collected data on HIV/AIDS prevalence and the HIV/AIDS-related knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of the general population in Papua and West Papua.

Men and women ages 15-49 participated in the survey. Out of a sample of 6,500 individuals, 6,305 were interviewed and of these 6,223 agreed to be tested for HIV.
