Summary

This survey is designed to provide a quick snapshot of the changing social and economic situation for Australian households with particular focus on how they are faring in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Each cycle collects information on different topics. Starting in August 2020, the survey switched to a monthly collection, and introduced a new panel of respondents. The March 2022 cycle was conducted from March 11th-20th 2022. The March 2022 cycle collected data about symptoms of COVID-19 and testing, emotional or mental wellbeing, hours on unpaid activities, impact of COVID-19 on school or childcare attendance, and job status changes and impact of COVID-19 on work arrangements. The same panel was used and a total of 2,162 continuing participants responded in the March 2022 cycle.
